THROUGH THE LEADERSHIP of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister, members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) zealously upheld whole year round the noble task of propagating God’s words. Their efforts reflect their conviction that as God’s people, they should always do the things that please Him, which is in consonance with the theme of the activities of the Church for its 110th year.
Pasugo: God’s Message magazines and religious pamphlets are distributed by brethren whenever they can in order to introduce to people the teachings of God that the Church Of Christ upholds.
The Lord God expects that His words written in the Bible be preached to multitudes of people. Thus, brethren bring their nonmember loved ones, friends, and acquaintances to designated venues, usually houses of worship, where ministers and ministerial workers teach God’s words during evangelical missions.
One with the Executive Minister in taking the lead in propagating God’s words, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Coordinator Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo presided over some of the evangelistic activities:
In addition to the conventional preaching of God’s words, the Church Administration also utilized music for the message of salvation to reach guests through musical evangelical missions.
In accordance with the Lord Jesus Christ’s injunction that baptism should come after hearing and believing in God’s words, those who have expressed their desire to join the Church Of Christ are taught a series of lessons on the fundamental teachings of the Bible and undergo a period of probation during which they have to prove their faith in the teachings they have received. Those who successfully do so are baptized into the Church Of Christ.
Members of the Church Of Christ firmly believe that it is God’s will that people come to the knowledge of the truth written in the Bible for them to be saved (I Tim. 2:3‒4).
