Through the help of the Lord and the approval of the Church Administration, three houses of worship—one in Bicol and two in Central Mindanao, Philippines—were recently completed all ready for their intended purpose.

In fact, all three sacred edifices have been used for the holy worship of God initially during their dedication to Him in late February and early March this year.

One of these is the newly-renovated house of worship of the Bula Congregation, in the Ecclesiastical District of General Santos City, South Cotabato, in Central Mindanao which could now accommodate 500 worshipers.

Brother Rene J. Panoncillo, the Church’s General Secretary, officiated at the special worship for its dedication to God on February 23.

“Thanks be to our Almighty God, through the instrumentality of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister, the Church never cease to uphold the sacred work of building houses of worship,” said Brother Danilo Culipano, assistant district supervising minister. “The brethren remain firm in the faith because they continue to receive God’s words during worship services which are held in the house of worship.”

Adjacent to the aforementioned district is the Ecclesiastical District of Sarangani, also a part of Central Mindanao. Under its jurisdiction is the Local Congregation of Maitum, whose members expressed thankfulness to God for their new house of worship during its dedication worship service on March 1.

Brother Danilo Catacho, district supervising minister, who led the said sacred gathering, attested, “Although the brethren experience difficult situations, they remain active in serving and worshiping God because they continuously receive His guidance through the Church Administration.”

The 180-seater holy edifice is situated along Rosal Street, Poblacion Maitum, Sarangani.

Meanwhile, the 180-seater house of worship in Bicol, which is in Barangay Bagacay, Libmanan Town, Camarines Sur Province, was constructed for the Busak Local Congregation.

Brother Misael Dungca Jr., the supervising minister of the Naga City, Camarines Sur Ecclesiastical District, officiated at the special worship service for its dedication.

According to Brother Arnold Joseph Soliman, the congregation’s resident minister, the brethren from Busak were doubly thankful to God as their house of worship was dedicated in time for their congregation’s 44th anniversary this year.

Ryshell Roadel, KADIWA president and secretariat officer, said, “We’ve been waiting for many years that our congregation be given a new house of worship. And God never disappointed us because, through the Church Administration, an elegant and modern edifice has risen in our place.”

On behalf of the brethren, Jose Bolilan Bragais, one of the congregation’s head deacons, conveyed their promise “to give utmost importance to our house of worship. We’ll keep it clean and maintain its beauty.” — With reports from INC News Section
