The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) has established a group worship service (GWS) in the city of Rosenheim in Bavaria, Germany. Its inaugural worship service was held at Wilhelm-Leibl-Platz 1, 83043, Bad Aibling, Germany on April 28, 2024.
The brethren present for the momentous occasion, led by Brother Joel Catalan, supervising minister of the Ecclesiastical District of Central Europe, had the opportunity to listen to the preaching of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, Executive Minister of the Church Of Christ, video-streamed during his pastoral visitation at the Local Congregation of Madrigal, Ecclesiastical District of Metro Manila South, in the Philippines. Through modern technology, the brethren in Rosenheim heard during the sermon why God’s people ought to continually do what pleases the Lord God.
Among the attendees was Kreza May Daludado, who took oath as head secretary. She said that having a place of worship closer to their homes mean that “we can all the more fulfill our Church duties.”
According to the brethren residing in the towns of Bad Reichenhall and Traunstein, both in Bavaria, they would travel 74 and 50 kms, respectively, just to be able to attend worship services with the Local Congregation of Munich.
“The establishment of this GWS will also pave the way for brethren to further take part in the propagation endeavors of the Church by sharing their faith to the people in the area,” said Brother Catalan.
Rosenheim GWS, located along the border of Germany and Austria, is the fourth GWS of which the Munich Congregation has been instrumental in its fruition.
The other GWS are the Augsburg GWS, Hohenfels GWS, and Nuremberg GWS. — With reports from INC News Section
