A new addition to the list of new houses of worship of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) is the 850-seater of the Local Congregation of Bolinao, Ecclesiastical District of Alaminos City, Pangasinan. The said house of worship was dedicated to God through a special worship service officiated at by Brother Eraño S. Codera, a minister of the gospel sent by the Church Administration, on June 14, 2024, Friday.
The preaching of God’s words was preceded by a prayer led by Brother Ricardo Alipio, district supervising minister. Brother Codera then preached a Bible-based lesson which emphasized the importance of doing the works that please the Almighty God, one of which is the building of houses of worship.
“With the growing number of brethren in our local congregation, we prayed to the Lord God that may He provide us with a bigger house of worship,” shared Erdy Lozano, the head deacon. “Today, that prayer has been fulfilled. We are so joyous to witness its dedication. It has renewed our zeal in our duties to Him,” said Erdy Lozano, the head deacon.
“We thank the Lord God for such a magnificent house of worship. We also thank the Church Administration for always remembering our welfare. Having renewed their conviction to always do what is pleasing to God, the brethren here promise to love and maintain this place,” said Brother Levy Bo, the district Church officers overseer.
The new house of worship is located at the village of Liwa-liwa, Bolinao, approximately 1.6 kms away from the former 150-seater house of worship located at Don Agustin, Bolinao, which served its purpose until the completion of the new one. — With reports from Jorilan Marcos
