“I’m happy for being included among those who received baptism,” expressed Mercedes Pascua, a newly-baptized member from the Local Congregation of Salapungan. She voiced what her fellow newly-baptized in the Ecclesiastical District of Paniqui, Tarlac, in the Philippines, felt as they received baptism on May 26, 2024, at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Paniqui.

The baptismal gathering was officiated at by Brother Vicente Benedicto Jr., the assistant district supervising minister. He delivered a Bible-based homily about the blessings that anyone who would enter the true Church Of Christ will receive, primarily the firm hope of receiving salvation on Judgment Day.

After the preaching, the baptismal candidates took oath of membership, thus affirming their dedication to the true faith. Their baptism was administered after.

“I will continue inviting my neighbors so that, if God willing, may they also become members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo,” Pascua added.

“I invited her in an evangelical mission and she continued to listen to Bible studies on doctrines,” narrated Rowena Cudal, Buklod member from the same congregation, on how she has been instrumental in Pascua’s conversion into the Church. “I’m joyful that she reached her baptism and she is with us now, helping in the propagation of the gospel.” — With reports from Ervin M.
