The Ecclesiastical District of Batangas, in the Philippines, held a blood donation activity on July 6, 2024. Its beneficiary was the Batangas Medical Center (BatMC) blood bank.
A total of 104 bags equivalent to 46,800 cc of blood were collected. Facilitated by the district Buklod and Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society officers, the socio-civic activity was held at the Alegria Hotel, Sta. Maria, Bauan, Batangas.
“It’s my first time to donate blood. It was a good experience,” shared Alexandra Fulgencio, a KADIWA officer and choir member in the Local Congregation of Danglayan. “I look forward to more activities like this,” she added.
Brother Tristan Dale Tumbaga, resident ministerial worker of the Local Congregation of Sta. Maria, expressed the conviction of the brethren in the district regarding humanitarian endeavors: “We will help as much as we can to unite in the Church Administration through the activities being launched. Doing so pleases God Almighty.”
