During a special gathering on June 30, 2024, at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Nabunturan, Ecclesiastical District of Davao de Oro in the Philippines, 305 new Church officers took oath.

Prior to the occasion, the new officers attended seminars and trainings for them to effectively fulfill their respective duties. They were sworn into office after the homily which was led by Brother Nicanor B. Bernardo Jr., the district supervising minister.

In his Bible-based homily, he reminded the Church officers about the importance of various duties in the Church. He then encouraged those who will take oath to dedicate themselves to God by wholeheartedly fulfilling their duties to Him.

“I thank the Lord God, and the Lord Jesus Christ for this duty,” Fritz Joy Serrano, newly-sworn in assistant district choir director from the Local Congregation of Elizalde, expressed. “During the special gathering, I felt God’s loving-kindness and the Church Administration’s concern for us.” — With reports from Jovel Cutamora
