Six local congregations under the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga West and located within the municipality of Florida Blanca, Pampanga, Philippines united in conducting an evangelical mission on July 2, 2024 to proclaim the pure gospel of salvation.

These congregations were Apalit-Florida Blanca, Anon, Calantas, Palmayo, San Nicolas-Florida Blanca, and Santa Monica FB. They were joined by the San Jose Extension, Carmencita Group Worship Service (GWS) and Pabanlag GWS each of which were also found in a certain barangay of Florida Blanca.

Brother Ronaldo Canlas, district supervising minister, officiated at the evangelical mission which was held at a covered court in Brgy. San Nicolas. In his preaching, he showed the guests, numbering around 600, the utmost importance of joining the true Church established by the Lord Jesus Christ, aptly named, “Church Of Christ.” It is the one, he proved through the Bible, that will be saved.

“Professing faith in God is important,” said a guest of the San Nicolas-F Blanca Congregation named Lurin Anden. “And having faith means obeying His commandments. I will continue to listen to God’s words taught inside the Church Of Christ.”

It was reported by the district’s office that of late that more than a dozen of the guests have decided to continue studying God’s teachings upheld inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

Three days prior to the said evangelical mission, on June 29, Brother Canlas also led the brethren from the said congregations in handing out free copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine in the neighborhoods around the venue of the evangelical mission. Over 600 Pasugo magazines, among other religious materials, were distributed. Other brethren gave Pasugo at their respective workplaces. — With reports from Paolo Samson II
