SAN MIGUEL, Bulacan — Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC or Church Of Christ) once again demonstrated their commitment to community welfare and for the environment through a series of initiatives in Bulacan and neighboring Pampanga.
On August 10, 2024, INC members in the Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan North, mobilized for a day of service that underscored their dedication to both their local environment and their neighbors. The day’s activities included a community clean-up drive, aimed at enhancing the beauty and cleanliness of local public spaces. INC volunteers from Barangay Bagong Silang, in San Miguel, Bulacan participated in the clean-up drive, collecting trash and other rubbish and afterwards facilitating proper disposal.
INC volunteers also distributed vegetable seedlings to farmers, residents, and passers-by in Barangay Mataas na Parang, San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
In the Province of Pampanga, INC members also distributed free coffee and pandesal—a traditional Filipino bread—to farmers and residents in Barangay Cuayan Bugtong, Candaba, as a gesture of appreciation for the farming community there.
The activities were part of INC’s ongoing mission to serve the community and promote environmental awareness which are all in adherence to the commandment of God to do good whenever possible.
Through these efforts, INC members continue to embody the values of compassion and stewardship that define their faith.
