Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the local congregations under the supervision of the Ecclesiastical District of San Jose City, Nueva Ecija gathered for a blood donation drive conducted at the San Jose City Pag-Asa Gymnasium on August 24, 2024.

The district Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers collaborated with healthcare representatives from the Dr. Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center, a medical institution located in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines for the said humanitarian activity. A total of 87 bags of blood were collected.

Qualified donor Krystell Salazar, a choir member and organist from the Local Congregation of CLSU, shared that whenever she takes part in drives such as this, “I always see these as opportunity to render assistance to other people in such a way that I help extend their lives.”

“Blood donations are among the projects of the Church embodying its administration’s concern for the welfare of our fellowmen,” shared Brother Ervic Ramos, district Christian Family Organizations overseer. “This in turn always inspire the members in also reaching out to other people.” — With reports from Sergio Esmabe
