“I’m grateful to God for receiving the life-changing blessings of baptism and look forward to living a life dedicated to serving and worshiping the Almighty God,” Maria Reyna Bausa, said.

Bausa was among those who received baptism at the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Palmerston City, Northern Territory, Ecclesiastical District of Australia West, on August 22, 2024. Brethren there were as much filled with joy and gratitude being witnesses and instrumental to the increasing membership in their congregation.

Receiving baptism in the true Church “gives us the assurance of not only forgiveness of sins but most especially, the promised salvation on the Second Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ,” Brother Felix Santos, the district supervising minister, highlighted during his Bible-based homily for the occasion.

“I’m also grateful to my friend for introducing me to the teachings of the Church and guiding me throughout my journey towards baptism,” Bausa added.

Christine Cruz, the Church member instrumental in the conversion of Bausa, said: “I’m determined to overcome any obstacles or challenges that may come my way, remaining steadfast and faithful in fulfilling my duties to God.” — With reports from Raiza Laurente of INC News Section
