In commemoration of the 55th year of the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI), the Ecclesiastical District of Hong Kong hosted a Unity Camp for Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) students from all over the district. The activity was held at the Paragon Creator Space in Kwun Tong, Kowloon on September 18, 2024.

“Our brethren who attended anticipated being here to be able to bond with their fellow youth. Moreover, this activity is a way of reminding them the importance of having their fellow Church Of Christ members as a support group. We thank the Church Administration for launching such events that edify the faithful,” said Brother Jonathan Jove, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer.

With the collective efforts of the KADIWA and Binhi officers, attendees were treated to a series of team-building activities, all aimed at cultivating among the youth that love of brotherhood. Event memorabilias were also given out.

“This is a very memorable event for us. Seeing my fellow students from different local congregations gave me the chance to know them better. This has enhanced the strength of our brotherhood,” said Lerch Arcega from the Local Congregation of Hong Kong East.

One of the organizers, the district KADIWA president, Aldieson Quinto, said, “We are really glad to gather our brethren here. The fellowship we felt with one another surely fortified our conviction to remain true Christians.”

Established in 1969, CBI aims to help and guide the Church’s youth in upholding the true faith while at the same time, excelling in their studies. — With assistance from Kris Gayle Seneca
