“This milestone is very important to us because for five years now, our Lord God has guided us through the pandemic, among other difficulties,” said Joren Abat, Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officer.

Indeed, making it through the Covid-19 pandemic all the more inspired Abat and fellow Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) officers in the Local Congregation of Mount Pleasant, Ecclesiastical District of Southern Ontario, to prepare for their congregation’s fifth anniversary celebration.

The said milestone was thus celebrated through a socializing activity at a function hall of the Century Gardens Recreation Centre along Vodden St E, Brampton, Ontario, Canada on October 13, 2024.

The local congregation leadership and Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers worked together in preparing a program featuring the Buklod, KADIWA, Binhi, and the CWS perform Iglesia Ni Cristo original music. Fun games in between performances and the refreshments further delighted the attendees.

“The love of the brotherhood was evident throughout the program, especially during the games. Everyone enjoyed each other’s company,” Abat observed.

Towards the end of the program, attendees watched an audio-visual presentation of the congregation’s endeavors since it was established in October 2019. Brother Angelo Charles Adriano is its current resident ministerial worker. — With assistance from Nigil Erran Anor and Angelo Adriano
