Residents in the city of Fresno, California benefited from an outreach event that the Ecclesiastical District of Central Valley, California organized at the house of worship compound of the Fresno Local Congregation on October 5, 2024.

In collaboration with the Felix Y. Manalo (FYM) Foundation, the said activity offered free health services including flu vaccinations. Free reading glasses, dental care items, and stress management materials were also distributed. In addition, refreshments were provided and fun activities facilitated giving warm welcome to all beneficiaries.

“The support of the volunteer-medical practitioners ensured the quality care for those who need it,” shared Norlee Carlos, deacon from the Orosi Local Congregation, nurse practitioner, and one of the organizers. “Together, we’re committed to improving the well-being of the community by offering everyone the opportunity to access these vital health resources.”

“I’m grateful for the variety of services offered,” said Juana Cristobal, a guest of the Fresno Congregation, who came along with her loved ones. “If it weren’t for these services, we wouldn’t have access to healthcare,” she added. — With reports from Jordan Silva of INC News Section
