“It’s a remarkable feeling knowing that the Church Administration genuinely cares for us young members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). We’re constantly guided on the right path, helping us to be successful in this life, especially on Judgment Day when we will receive salvation. I’m truly proud to be a member of the Church,” said Jerson Interior, a choir member of the Local Congregation of Burnaby, Ecclesiastical District of British Columbia.

He was one of the attendees in the special gatherings of the KADIWA and Binhi members held simultaneously in the district on October 25, 2024.

The special gatherings were held at the house of worship of the East Vancouver Congregation and at the Surrey Congregation that same day. District supervising minister Brother Glendo Baitan and assistant district supervising minister Brother Romeo Maglaya, officiated, respectively.

In the said gatherings, the attendees were enjoined to uphold the Christian culture. They must not be easily swayed and influenced by what is trending, as not everything they see, read, or watch on social media aligns with God’s will.

“I am truly thankful to our Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, and Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Coordinator, for constantly safeguarding our faith. Today’s lesson is very timely, especially with the influence of social media and its potential risks to us young members. On my part, I will stay mindful as I live in this world. I will remain in the Church until the end,” expressed Marjorie Cabarrabang, a KADIWA member and Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officer in the New Westminster Congregation.

“I felt blessed having been reminded to not be distracted by worldly things,” said Lance David of the Local Congregation of Abbotsford. “I will live according to God’s will so as not to be swayed by evil deeds in this world,” he added. — With reports from Marra Vander Voort of INC News Section
