In Tokyo, Japan Ecclesiastical District, a baptism was held on October 25, 2024 at the house of worship of Saitama Congregation. Brother Amante Rodriguez, district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred occasion.

In his Bible-based homily, the baptismal candidates were exhorted to not be contented with being mere members of the Church, that is, they must always faithfully fulfill all of God’s teachings until the end.

Among those baptized was Hirotoshi Suzuki who gained interest in joining the Church upon hearing and understanding the biblical teaching regarding the differences between the one true God and the Lord Jesus Christ, which prove that Christ is not God. “[At first,] I didn’t know the difference between God and Christ but now I fully understand about it, that they are distinct from one another, and that the Father alone is the one true God.”

Right after their gathering, Church officers and members, including those who were instrumental in the conversion into the true faith of the newly baptized brethren, congratulated them via a ‘Welcome My Brethren’ activity. Also during the said event, they were informed and invited to attend the upcoming activities of the Christian Family Organizations in their respective local congregations and districtwide. — With reports from Rhianna Angelique Gacoscos of INC News Section
