On the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the Christian Employees Association (CEA), an organization for members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) who are gainfully employed in various field of profession, the Ecclesiastical District of New Zealand North, held simultaneous gatherings in every local congregation on November 28, 2024.

The ministers and ministerial workers who officiated at the said gatherings reiterated to CEA members the call to uphold good work ethics, to live righteously, and, above all, perform their God-given duties, whatever situation in life they may be in.

Lina Jean Sta. Ana, a member of CEA from the Local Congregation of Wellington, said. “I always ask the Lord God to help me be able to perform my duty in the Church despite having to work. Fortunately, He answers my prayers. Praises be to Him,” she enthused.

About what she learned from the lesson, Sta. Ana added, “Material things are not permanent. So, what matters most is upholding my faith in God, and His given divine election, to be sure of salvation (on Judgment Day).”

Likewise undaunted no matter how busy he maybe at work, and life’s problems notwithstanding, Philip Joson, the head deacon of the Local Congregation of Manukau, shared his zeal: “I will uphold my divine election whatever happens in this world. I will continue praising and worshiping our Almighty God.” — With reports from Ann Coline Muros of INC News Section
