A district-wide Pasugo drive, followed by an evangelical mission later that day was held by the Ecclesiastical District of Valencia City, Bukidnon, Philippines on November 29, 2024.

That day, the brethren first gathered at their respective houses of worship for a briefing prior to the magazine distribution. Afterwards, they set out to distribute copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine to their neighborhoods, and taking the opportunity to invite them to listen to God’s words later that day. A total of 1,489 magazines were handed over.

“I had the opportunity to read the Pasugo magazine. I saw pictures of the beautiful chapels of the Iglesia Ni Cristo and Bible verses that inspire people,” Merlyn Dablejo, a recipient of the magazine in Lurugan, Valencia City, observed.

“The importance of participating in evangelistic activities, such as the giving out of the Pasugo, paves the way for brethren to not only share their faith but also fortify their zeal of following God’s will and thus safeguard their divine election,” Brother Allan Avila, district Light of Salvation overseer, said.

Meanwhile, the district-wide evangelical mission was held later that day. Brother Ruel Zapata, district supervising minister, presided over the evangelistic activity through livestreaming, with the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Valencia City as the host site. Overall, there were 1,356 guests who attended the evangelical mission.

Brother Zapata explained to the guests through a Bible-based lesson the misfortune that befell many people due to their committing sins, that is, eternal punishment in the lake of fire on Judgment Day. They can be delivered from such fate, he detailed, through belonging to the Lord Jesus Christ by being members of the true Church Of Christ.

“I fulfill God’s command of helping in the work of propagating the true faith as I look forward to His promise of salvation on Judgment Day, for me and for those who will also be called into the true Church,” said Reynan Alolino, a head deacon from the Lurugan Local Congregation, who was able to bring guests. — With reports from Bonniejhun Faelnar of INC News Section
