On January 12, 2025, the newly established Ecclesiastical District of Western Australia held a Children’s Worship Service (CWS) Fun Day at the Medina Hall, along 7 Pace Road, Medina, Western Australia. The district sprang from the then Ecclesiastical District of Australia West now called the Ecclesiastical District of Victoria, Australia.
Brother Paolo Marteja, resident ministerial worker of Coogee Congregation, led the opening prayer, after which he enjoined everyone in attendance for a picture taking. Then, Brother Nolly Esperanza, district supervising minister, gave the opening remarks. Highlighting the importance of the CWS and its activities, he encouraged the parents to support their children in such worthwhile endeavors.
After ground rules and instructions were relayed, friendly competitions, including various team games, Battle of the Brains, and the Mr. & Ms. CWS 2025, followed. Winners received medals and certificates of appreciation. They are as follows:

“It is very exciting to participate with our CWS members from other local congregations,” enthused Arianne Osorio, a CWS choir member. “I got the chance to know and played fun games with them. I’m looking forward to take part again for the next CWS activities.”
More than promoting camaraderie among the youth, “this event’s purpose is to safeguard and edify the faith of the children,” said Rhea Cosico, a CWS teacher and among the organizers.
“The children were very happy. That’s why CWS is very important for the young members so that, when they grow up, they will remember these good memories. It will help them to be strong in the faith and thus understand how important it is to be a member of the Church Of Christ,” said Brother Esperanza. — With reports from Shanelle Flores and Hannah Sharlene Leoncio of INC News Section
