One with the whole Church in conducting the worldwide evangelical mission on January 19, 2025, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from ecclesiastical districts in Asia reached out to many people to share their faith. Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Coordinator, led the study of God’s words from the Central Temple in Quezon City, Philippines, which served as the host site. He preached about God’s will recorded in the Bible on how people will be saved come Judgment Day: by obeying the command to enter through the Lord Jesus Christ by becoming and remaining members of the true Church.

Before the preaching of God’s words, brethren and guests alike watched a video presentation featuring the then Executive Minister Brother Eraño G. Manalo (1925-2009), as part of commemorating his 100th birth anniversary, and a brief introduction about the Church Of Christ.

In the Ecclesiastical District of Macau, most of the guests were Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW). “I’m thankful for welcoming me in this evangelistic event,” said Johndee Palaganas, who went on saying, “I learned how to have faith in the Lord God. The messages from the Bible were clearly communicated by the minister, and it feels so good to have received the Lord’s teachings.”

Brother Celestino Bacsafra, district supervising minister, said that “the brethren prepared for this activity through a week of devotional prayers and distribution of copies of Pasugo: God’s Message magazine and pamphlet.”

The Taiwan Ecclesiastical District took part in the evangelical mission with its three remote sites, the places of worship of the Local Congregations of Hukuo, Guishan, and Zhongli. Brother Roel Castillo, district supervising minister, led them. On their behalf, he said that the whole district will uphold unity in the work of propagating God’s words as it truly pleases Him.

“It’s interesting to listen to the preaching of the Bible,” said Thassorn Yamkong, one of the many guests whom Church members in the Ecclesiastical District of Thailand brought along to the designated venues. “With the minister preaching, I felt his passion to share the knowledge of truth,” she added.

“When I received the invitation from our coach, it made me happy, I didn’t expect this. The atmosphere is receptive and I’m grateful to listen to God’s words,” shared Anthony Hoarau, another guest.

In Caloocan North Ecclesiastical District, the house of worship of the Local Congregation of F. Manalo was one of the remote sites. A guest there, Erron Calba, remarked, “Activities in the Iglesia Ni Cristo are organized,” having been able to attend other activities of the Church. “I’m thankful and happy to have joined my friends in their Church activities. Looking forward, I’m excited to keep participating in more of their events,” he added.

In the Capiz Ecclesiastical District, many brethren helped in the evangelical mission that they were able to bring along 806 guests. “I believe that it’s pleasing to God to unite with this kind of work,” Elias Deciembre, Buklod member in the Roxas City Local Congregation, enthused. “I will continue valuing and fulfilling my duties, one of which is helping in evangelical missions.”

Meanwhile, guests in the Iloilo South Ecclesiastical District expressed their observation regarding the evangelical mission. “I learned a lot from listening in the preaching. I appreciate what’s being said,” said Noel Noynay, a Catholic guest. “The experience is something new for me because in the venue, … men and women are separated. So, … it helped me focus in understanding the message.”

Church officers in the Ecclesiastical District of Batangas North took the lead in bringing guests to the evangelical mission. “The work of propagation in the Church Of Christ is important because this is God’s commandment, and so, uniting in this brings glory to Him,” Jedrick Robledo, deacon from the Tanauan City Congregation, explained.

“The preaching was clear. It made an impact to me regarding the command on how to be saved on Judgment Day. I’m willing to further examine about this,” said Anabelle Pido, guest.

In Mindanao, the Ecclesiastical District of Buug, Zamboanga del Sur, had more than 600 guests benefiting from the preaching of the words of God.

“Questions were asked, and the answers came from the Bible, not from personal opinions,” observed Angelina Bagcat, a guest at the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Sicade. “As what I’ve learned, to be saved, it’s not enough to simply have faith. One must be in or join the flock that Christ will save, which is the Iglesia Ni Cristo. That caught my interest, and so I will continue examining the biblical teachings upheld by the Church.” — With reports from INC News Section
