Brethren in the Local Congregation of Magallanes, Ecclesiastical District of Agusan del Norte, Philippines attended the first worship service in their newly-renovated house of worship on February 8, 2025. The said gathering was led by Brother Nicanor Bernardo Jr., the district supervising minister.

In his preaching, he highlighted that the only one true God, Who is the Almighty Father in heaven, expects people to understand and uphold their reason for being, that is, to worship and serve Him in the true Church.

“Our house of worship is beautiful, truly suitable for our worship and service to God,” enthused choir member Marlou Palas who, just like fellow Church officers, “so anticipated the day when [they] would fulfill [their respective] duties in this newly renovated house of worship.”

“I am grateful for God’s love and wondrous works that He made possible the renovation of this house of worship wherein we can all the more praise and worship Him. I will take good care, love, and protect the house of worship,” avowed deacon Jake Navarro.

“The brethren’s happiness has been evident,” observed assistant district supervising minister Brother Wilfredo Sumang, adding that “this occasion has encouraged the brethren to all the more commit their selves to God, such as striving to share the true faith.”

The pastoral house and the caretaker’s house were also renovated. — With reports from Cheivy Soliman of INC News Section
