Under the program CFO Cares of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), young members of the Local Congregation of Sampaguita Village in the Ecclesiastical District of Marikina in the Philippines distributed breakfast-on-the-go along Malaya Street in Barangay Malanday, Marikina City on March 22, 2025.

Among the local congregation’s KADIWA officers who led the brethren was Kheizley Del Mundo. This socio-civic activity manifested “the concern that Church Of Christ members have, not just for one another but to nonmembers as well,” she said.

“Seeing people’s smiles as we give them meals warmed our hearts, especially since we know that such small gestures make them happy,” local KADIWA officer Arlhec Novelas expressed. He also shared, “Some recipients even stayed for a while to talk, took pictures with us, and also inquired about the Church and its various projects.”

District KADIWA officer Marvin De Asis, who was also among those present at the event, said on behalf of fellow youth to “remain united with the Church Administration by assisting in launching activities that are helpful for the brethren’s growth, as individuals and as Church members. We will keep on exhorting them to participate in CFO activities that are all pleasing to God.”

“We will continue to support youth activities such as this,” stated resident minister Brother Robelito Cañaveral Sr. District Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer Brother Jake Jambaro said on behalf of the district that “Church members in Marikina District will always be one with the Church Administration, such as during CFO activities being launched.”
