“With the guidance and approval from the Church Administration, a new congregation has been established, a great blessing marked with the dedication of its own house of worship. This is the result of the brethren’s zeal and prayers to the Lord God,” said Urdaneta City district supervising minister Brother Elmer Abalos.
To mark the establishment of a new local congregation: Sto. Niño Congregation, in the Ecclesiastical District of Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, Philippines, a special worship service was held on April 4, 2025. Making the occasion doubly special, the congregation’s own house of worship was also dedicated to God on the said gathering.
Church members in Sto. Niño used to be enlisted in the Local Congregation of Binalonan, the house of worship of which is located in another barangay or village. With the construction of their 150-seater house of worship, brethren there can now perform their services to God closer to their home. The house of worship of the congregation stands at #29 Mendoza St., Sto. Niño, Binalonan, Pangasinan.
In his Bible-based homily, Brother Abalos reminded the brethren the importance of rendering the proper worship of God. He pointed out that the doors of the house of worship are always open for them; it is here where they must all the more conduct their devotional prayers, especially when dire situations come.
Resident minister Brother Ramil De Vera said that “the house of worship is integral to the life of Church members. We are filled with profound joy having been granted what we prayed to God for.”
On behalf of the congregation, head deacon Oliver Pulido said, “We thank the Lord God for, through the Church Administration, He has granted us a beautiful house of worship. This has further inspired our resolve to always do what pleases the Almighty God.” — With assistance from April May Lopez
