A truly noble and good example of community support blood donation drive in Bataan

ORANI, Bataan — Over 200 Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Bataan gathered at the Orani Gymnasium on December 28, 2024 to participate in a life-saving blood donation drive, reflecting the INC’s commitment to serving communities in need.

The event, which began at 8:00 a.m., was done in partnership with James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH).

Brother Roderick Chulvo, INC Supervising Minister of the Orani Ecclesiastical District, shared that the INC members do this in their desire to help their fellow men and save lives. 

“The Administration of the Iglesia Ni Cristo launched this initiative for our fellow countrymen. Following God’s command to love one’s neighbor, this project is regularly carried out by the INC in various parts of the world,” he added.

Dr. Kate Alyssa Principe of JLGMH who has witnessed numerous INC blood donation events noted that this was “a truly noble and good example of community support.” 

The successful event highlighted the INC’s commitment to improve healthcare access and support local hospitals in times of need.

This blood donation drive is part of the INC’s global initiative to help those in need. Similar activities are held regularly around the world, emphasizing the Church’s ongoing dedication to making a positive impact in local communities.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) is a Christian religion in more than 165 countries and territories. It is composed of members from more than 150 different ethnicities and nationalities.
