The Local Congregation of Bacarra in the Ecclesiastical District of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, has been blessed with a new house of worship, which was dedicated to God through a special worship service on May 24, 2024.
Brother Bienvenido S. Dela Cruz, a minister sent by the Church Administration, officiated during the said occasion. Through a Bible-based lesson, he emphasized to the brethren the significance of the house of worship in glorifying our Lord God.
The completion and dedication of the new house of worship “greatly inspired me as a Church officer. I will be even more dedicated to performing my duty. I am very thankful that I’ve witnessed this momentous occasion,” said Virginia Baniaga, a deaconess.
“The house of worship is where we offer praises to God and ask of His blessings and compassion,” said Brother Romulo Grande, resident minister. On behalf of the brethren, he added, “Thus, it is fitting that this place be maintained at all times, which we will do.”
Just nine kilometers away from the district office in Laoag City, the newly constructed 580-seater house of worship was built at Barangay 21 Libtong, Bacarra, Ilocos Norte on the same piece of land where the former 150-seater house of worship was situated. Equipped inside it were a LED wall and state-of-the-art sound system, among others. Offices for the congregation’s various departments, and the Technical Support for Videostreaming (TSV) room were also built. — With reports from Norwin Syd Mirasol and Frazell Sahagun of INC News Section
