“This new house of worship serves as a meaningful reminder and inspiration for us to remain steadfast in our faith,” said choir leader Samuela Monton. “Simply gazing upon this majestic structure fills me with hope in these uncertain times, keeps me committed to always fulfilling my duties to God.”

Standing in Area 1, Barangay Bangayan, Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte, Philippines, the newly built 315-seater house of worship of the Local Congregation of Bangayan has been dedicated to God during a special worship service on March 14, 2025.

The district supervising minister Brother Nicanor Bernardo Jr., led the dedication of the new house of worship, which stands on the same lot as the former. The gathering was attended not only by the congregation’s members but also by those from other congregations within the district.

During the study of God’s words, Brother Bernardo emphasized the vital role the house of worship plays in the brethren’s lives. It is where they all the more feel God’s presence, especially during worship services. It is also where they can cast all their cares to Him by holding devotional prayers. The district supervising minister also urged everyone to love and take care of the house of worship, for doing so pleases the Lord God.

“I am truly grateful to the Lord God for blessing us with such a magnificent house of worship, which He made possible through the Church Administration. I vow to remain dedicated to my duties and support the Administration in guiding the brethren in our area,” said head deacon Jessie Esmeralda.

“We will cherish and take good care of this house of worship. We will continue to render our services to God in this holy place, giving glory and honor to His name,” said resident ministerial worker Brother Anthonym Maque on behalf of the congregation.

The house of worship is equipped with LED TVs, LED wall, generator set, CCTV system, and Johannus organ. A pastoral house and office spaces were also built.
