“I thank the Iglesia Ni Cristo for conducting such a charitable act. Having my medical needs provided was truly a big help to improve my health,” Gladys Paglinawan, one of the beneficiaries, said.

Together with other residents, she availed of free medical services extended by members of the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) in the Ecclesiastical District of Batangas North, at the compound of the Local Congregation of Barandal on July 7, 2024.

A total of 105 Batangueños in the villages of Barandal and San Francisco, in Lipa City, benefited from the medical-dental mission. They availed of free medical and dental services, including medical consultation, blood pressure monitoring, blood typing, ECG, and tooth extraction. They were also given free vitamins and medicines.

Brother Ramir Pabalate Sr., the district supervising minister, who oversaw the said humanitarian act, expressed gratitude to God for the success of the activity. “This initiative is our way of responding to God’s biblical command to do good to those in need (Prov. 3:27),” he said.

“Providing medical assistance to our fellowmen is gratifying on my part,” said Roviklein Abarrientos, district CMDPS president and a medical practitioner. “Hopefully, I’ve been of help to them and has inspired them to take good care of their health.” — With reports from Hector Delos Angeles
