In commemoration of the Isabela East Ecclesiastical District’s anniversary, Church members there held a special worship service on June 9, 2024, precisely 55 years after the district’s establishment.
Brother Rene J. Panoncillo, the General Secretary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), officiated at the holy occasion held at the house of worship of the Cauayan Congregation. It was livestreamed to 46 remote sites within the district.
During his homily, he echoed to the attendees the biblical reminder of the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, to all Church members—to always live righteously and be prayerful so as to be blessed by the Lord God. Brother Panoncillo also exhorted the brethren to remain zealous in all the works of the Church for doing so pleases God.
“I have been in the choir ever since the district was established. Up to now, I continue to fulfill my duty. I gain inspiration and the strength I need to carry on in my services when I perform my duty,” said Remedios Yango, district choir director, who is one of the pioneering members in the district.
“Church members in the district continue to be active in the endeavors launched by the Church Administration. God’s guidance has been evident not only in our district in its entirety, but even in the lives of the brethren,” attested Brother Ronilo R.
