VINZONS, Camarines Norte — Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) in Camarines Norte reached out to four schools in the Calaguas Islands through its Lingap sa Mamamayan program.

Students and faculty members in Banocboc Elementary School (BES), Eugenia M. Quintela Memorial High School (EMQMHS), Mangcawayan Calaguas Island Integrated School (MCIIS), and Pinagtigasan Calaguas Island Integrated School (PCIIS), received bags of rice, canned goods, noodles, drinking water, vitamins and other essential care items. School supplies were also given to the students.

According to the organizers, there are 1,906 students and 47 faculty members from the mentioned schools who benefited from the conducted Lingap sa Mamamayan.

“We are overjoyed that despite the difficult weather conditions, you chose to help us. Thank you for bringing hope to us,” said Mark Paul Chandler Losana, a Grade 12 student at EMQMHS.

“This is a huge help for our students. Many families here struggle, and some students miss school because they can’t afford food. This assistance will make a real difference,” added Shirly Pama, Officer-In-Charge at BES.

Brother David Peralta, the INC District Supervising Minister in Camarines Norte, emphasized that this initiative reflected the INC’s commitment to the Christian teaching “to do good to those who need it.”
