The Buklod Night of the Ecclesiastical District of CAMANAVA, in the Philippines, brought together married members at the multipurpose hall of the Local Congregation of Bagbaguin on December 23, 2024. This formal event was held in line with the 62nd anniversary of Buklod.
Brother Bedan Ubaldo, district supervising minister, graced the activity with his presence. In his opening remarks, he delivered a short lecture aimed at edifying the marital bond.
Led by Buklod district officers, the event’s program so delighted the attendees, which include the performance of talented brethren showcasing Iglesia Ni Cristo original music. Attendees enjoyed different fun games and a delectable dinner.
“We’re happy being here,” said Normelita Borjal, deaconess from the Local Congregation of Navotas. “This activity has further inspired the love we have for each other as a married couple,” her husband Celestino added.
“It’s a celebration, which also turned out to be a ‘date’ for the married members, and it’s so much fun,” said Manny Luna, Buklod district officer from the Caloocan Congregation.
“I’ve been married for four years,” said Ben Villaflor, Children’s Worship Service teacher from the Balintawak Congregation, who attended with his wife, both of whom “truly appreciated this activity.”
Brother Jerry Ricamata, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, gave the closing remarks and the prayer after. “We thank the Church Administration for supporting this activity through which the hearts of married couples have been further united, drawn closer together, thereby strengthening their marital bond, love and affection for one another,” he said. — With reports from Raul Batayola Jr.
