DAGOHOY, Bohol — Continuously upholding the biblical teaching, in Proverbs 3:27 Good News Bible, “Whenever you possibly can, do good to those who need it,” the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) extended assistance to those affected by El Niño in the province of Bohol.

On May 29, 2024, INC volunteers distributed care packages consisting of rice, canned food, noodles, and gallons of drinking water to about 800 residents from Barangay Mahayag in the municipality of Dagohoy, and Barangay San Pascual in Ubay municipality.

The Lingap sa Mamamayan (Care for Humanity) events were held at the respective worship building compounds of Mahayag and San Pascual congregations.

The recipients expressed their gratitude for the INC assistance. “We’re so glad that no matter how difficult our situation is, someone [INC] helps us,” expressed Baby Jane Autentico, a resident from San Pascual.

INC members strive to help those in need, including those affected by calamities.
