KADIWA members in the Ecclesiastical District of Cavite, Philippines, spearheaded a clean-up drive at a coastal area of Barangay 53-b, Sangley Point, Cavite City, Cavite on March 29, 2024.

Led by Brother Manuel Santos, district supervising minister, and fellow ministers constituting the district leadership, the brethren assembled at the venue early in the morning for the socio-civic activity.

“It’s been my aim to volunteer in events like these that help maintain the cleanliness of our environment,” shared Christian Gillian, an active KADIWA member from the Local Congregation of Sangley Point. “Being able to practice this and the same time promote the Christian value of helping is always a joy for me,” he added.

“I find comfort whenever I dedicate time to unite with my fellow youth in upholding the Church’s endeavors. Seeing the result of this activity has renewed my zeal as an active member of the Church,” said Angela Mohammad, KADIWA member in the Local Congregation of Cavite City.

Clean-up drives are among the socio-civic activities that the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members around the world conduct as their way of uniting with the Church’s INC Giving project.

“The Church Administration encourages us to participate and lend a helping hand during our INC Giving events to fulfill God’s commandment that His servants provide help for the betterment of the society whenever they can,” explained Brother Samuel Saludez, the district Light of Salvation overseer. — With reports from Rose Ann Ramallosa of INC News Section
