On February 12, 2024, the Church Administration approved the formation of the Ecclesiastical District of Central Valley, California. It is the sixth district of the Iglesia Ni Cristo to rise in USA’s Golden State, the others being Northeast California, Northwest California, Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Diego County.
Formerly part of the Northeast California District, the newly established district, with offices within the compound of the Fresno Local Congregation’s house of worship, comprises eight local congregations and two group worship services.
According to Brother Isaias Antinew, who has been designated as the district supervising minister, activities such as evangelical missions and INC Giving events were expected to be launched in the newly formed district.
“The Church members in Central Valley, California will always be united with the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, in all of the endeavors of the Church. We, ministers and ministerial workers, along with the Church officers will continue to edify the brethren and lead them in the work of propagation of God’s words,” said Brother Antinew. — With reports from INC News Section
