Just two weeks after the establishment of the Wejherowo, Poland Group Worship Service (GWS), the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe opened another GWS at the same country, the Plock, Poland GWS. Its inaugural worship service was held at Hotel Petropol, Al. Stanisława Jachowicza, Płock on February 16, 2025.
Much to the brethren’s delight, the Church Administration approved that on the said gathering the brethren witness, through videostreaming, the homily of the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, during the dedication to God of the house of worship of the San Nicolas Local Congregation, Manila, Philippines.
Prior to their being organized as a GWS, Church members in Plock would travel about three hours to attend worship services, among other activities of the Church, in the place of worship in Łowicz. Now that they have a place of worship of their own in a rented space in Górna 36 Płock, Warsaw, Poland, “the brethren just have to travel 5 to 20 minutes to reach the place of worship,” explained district chronicler Brother Kevin Heitmann. “Praises be to our Almighty God, the brethren will all the more be able to hold their worship service to our Father, which is pleasing before His sight.”
“I’m overjoyed when I heard that there’d be an inaugural worship service here in Poland because, once again, the Church Of Christ will further be known here,” Sonny Silva, GWS overseer, expressed.
“Listening to the biblical preaching of our Executive Minister has encouraged me more to do my best in fulfilling my duty,” said finance officer Jayson Festejos. “I promise to be more active in the different activities of the Church.”
“We believe that the Church’s success is due to God’s guidance to Brother Eduardo Manalo,” said district supervising minister Brother Vizar Balcita who led the GWS’s inaugural worship service. “By staying united with the Church Administration, we trust that God will continue blessing us. Our commitment to God, and the Church Administration is unwavering, as we obey the Lord’s commandments and submit to the Executive Minister for the attainment of salvation,” he added.
