KADIWA and Binhi members in the Local Congregation of Decalachao, Ecclesiastical District of Calamian, in the Philippines, attended a photography and videography seminar at their house of worship on January 25, 2025. More than 70 youth members attended.

Brother Jed Ceder Dosdos, district multimedia adviser, led the said event. He shared to the attendees basic tips in taking photos, such as the focusing, composition, and framing skills. His fellow district multimedia officer, Ramil Castil, taught about technical and creative skills, among others, in taking videos. He also demonstrated how to use video editing applications.

“I’m happy for attending this activity,” said Binhi member Zhian Reynold De Ramas. “Through this I learned some basic skills in taking photos, such as close-up and wide shots.”

“Learning about the basics of video editing, I can now use such skills in making assignments and projects in school which involve video presentation,” shared congregation Binhi president Joash Kyle Bobriel.

In sharing “knowledge and skills to the brethren in Calamian about visual media,” said Brother Dosdos, it is hoped that “more brethren will more be interested to join the district multimedia team.”
