Brethren from the Ecclesiastical District of Central convened for a two-day activity in line with their celebration of the 110th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

On August 1 and 2, 2024, brethren took part in activities organized by the district’s Christian Family Organizations (CFO) at the activity center of SM North EDSA, a shopping mall along North Avenue, in Quezon City, Philippines.

The musical numbers performed by brethren from different local congregations greatly delighted the attendees. Included in the program was a tutorial on juggling.

“When we entered the activity center, we first went to the playground and inflatable slide, on which the children enjoyed playing,” shared Jan Michael de Torres, group overseer from the Local Congregation of Tandang Sora, QC. “We made sure that even if we are busy working every day, we still have time to spend with our family, and most of all, actively join in activities in the Church.”

Among those who attended was Jean Pascual, Light Of Salvation secretary from the Local Congregation of Bagong Buhay, who “enjoyed visiting the booths” while at the same time was “thankful for being able to take part in this activity which manifests God’s blessings to the Church.”

“This activity aims to edify the faith of our brethren, and to strengthen their bond for this will truly help them to unite even more in taking part in the various endeavors of the Church which bring glory and joy to God,” stated Brother Jason Ferma, district CFO overseer.  — With reports from Eralyn Pabilona of INC News Section
