The Ecclesiastical District of Australia West held a district-wide evangelical mission that drew the attendance of 329 guests. The said propagational activity was hosted from the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Melbourne, Victoria on November 22, 2024.

Brother Joel V. San Pedro of the Church’s Overseas Mission Office, officiated the event that was livestreamed to the other houses of worship within the district. Comparing popular beliefs regarding salvation with what the Bible teaches, he proved such beliefs to be erroneous, one of which is the ‘faith alone’ concept.

As the Savior Himself, the Lord Jesus Christ, teaches, Brother San Pedro emphasized that the right way to be saved come Judgment Day is by heeding the Savior’s call of entering the true Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in these last days.

“Guests were from different walks of life, race, and ethnicities. This kind of enthusiasm the brethren have in sharing the true faith is Bible-based,” said Brother San Pedro in an interview after the study of God’s words. “After all, we are the lights of this world. Being active in the Church works is in preparation for us to enter the kingdom of heaven.”

“The preaching was clear. The preacher read the Bible all the time, that’s why I know what I heard are truth I have to abide by. I’m so thankful for being invited here. This will not be the last time,” said Alice Kupare, a guest of the Local Congregation of Port Moresby, PNG.

Another guest, Neeta Pramachandra, who attended in Melbourne, said, “The members were so welcoming. I felt really good to attend this gathering. I truly believe that God’s words will help me not only in facing my current problems and as the Bible stated, for my salvation.” — With assistance from Brendan Thompson and Loreen Quiñola
