All local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Marikina, in the Philippines, held evangelical missions on December 10, 2024, at their respective houses of worship. About a thousand guests attended these simultaneous propagational events.
“As soon as I heard about the evangelical mission in the district, I immediately thought of people whom I can invite, prayed to God for them, and scheduled a day to personally invite them to attend,” shared Tiberio Prado, head deacon from Bayan-bayanan Congregation. “I make sure that I always have guests, especially from among my loved ones, in evangelistic works of the Church because I want them to be saved as well come Judgment Day,” he added.
“This success was made possible through God’s help and the unity of the brethren,” said Brother Cyrus Jose Dizon, district supervising minister. “Brethren invited their relatives and loved ones knowing that such pleases God and Christ, and that sharing the pure gospel will lead people in the true service to receive salvation,” he further said.
Ministers assigned to officiate at the evangelical missions emphasized from the Bible the importance of joining the true Church Of Christ for people to be saved on Judgment Day.
“The preaching was clear. Everything taught was read from the Bible, no opinions were given,” said Ian Redge Dioso, a guest from the Sampaguita Village Congregation.
Dioso and about 300 more guests expressed their desire to continue listening to the biblical teachings in the Church.
