In line with the Church Of Christ’s biblical thrust to impart the pure gospel to all and sundry, the Ecclesiastical District of Ilocos Sur held an evangelical mission at a coastal village in the town of Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.

The propagation activity participated in especially by the congregations in the said municipality was held in the covered court of Barangay Sulvec, a kilometer away from the Narvacan Congregation’s house of worship on June 28, 2024.

Brother Gary Gulbin, district Light Of Salvation (LOS) overseer, preached a lesson introducing to the guests the biblical truth that the Father in heaven is the one and only true God, whom people must serve and worship for that is their reason for being.

A looming inclement weather did not deter the brethren from participating such that through their unity and with the help of God, they were able to bring many guests.

“Despite the inclement weather, we strove to bring guests for we firmly believe that helping in the work of propagation pleases our Lord God,” said Joseph Lazarte, choir member from the Quinarayan Congregation, who with some fellow Church officers brought 10 guests. He added, “I handed to them copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine before this evangelical mission.”

“I asked for our Lord God’s help through devotional prayers so that I can bring guests in this evangelical mission,” said Crystal Guinto, choir member from the Narvacan Congregation. She and her family brought along six guests.

“I appreciate what the Iglesia Ni Cristo is teaching,” a guest named Nathalie Manaog remarked. “The lesson was based on the truth written in the Bible. The answers for the questions are directly read from the Holy Scriptures.” — With reports from Edlyn Antolin of INC News Section
