“I had no idea about this Church before but being invited here made me know that the truth you follow are in the Bible,” said Fabian Kocma, a Canadian guest upon attending the musical evangelical mission that the Ecclesiastical District of British Columbia held at the Massey Theatre in New Westminster on October 20, 2024.

Choral groups, duets, and soloists performed several numbers of Iglesia Ni Cristo original music. In between the performances, ministers read Bible verses that pertain to the true religion in these last days—the Church Of Christ.

Aside from just being entertaining, “music is a very effective way to convey a certain message and emotion to the audience. It inclines the heart to pay attention to what the song is about. This is why I’m so glad that through my talent, I’m able to share God’s will,” said Meriam Dela Cruz, a deaconess from the Local Congregation of Burnaby.

Brethren felt fulfilled having been able to inform their fellowmen about God’s words solely written in the Bible. On their behalf, Brother Gilbert Maniego, the district edification overseer, said, “Sharing the faith as members of God’s nation in these last days is a duty we must fulfill as it is pleasing before God. That is why we will always unite in this noble endeavor led by the Church Administration.”

Many guests expressed their interest to learn more about the biblical teachings the Church upholds. “It is a delight to know more about the Church Of Christ. I look forward to know more about the Bible,” added Kocma. — With reports from Mia Mendoza of INC News Section
