The Ecclesiastical District of Hawaii-Pacific held an INC Unity Games on January 20, 2025, bringing together softball and flag football enthusiasts from all over the district. The sporting event was conducted at the Ewa Mahiko District Park in Ewa Beach, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. Brethren from the other main islands of Hawaii were unhindered in being present at the activity.
“It’s really amazing to be part of Church events like these. The brethren are so welcoming and warm. It’s a great environment to foster camaraderie. I met other brethren my age and we bonded well today,” said Francheska Perez of Honolulu Congregation.
It’s fun and above all promotes brotherly love,” affirmed Maili Congregation head deacon Francis Fernandez. “It’s very important as it makes the youth more active in Church activities.”
After the friendly games, participants also enjoyed snacks and free meals. The winning teams were recognized and given prizes.
“We thank the Church Administration for always guiding the brethren no matter how far our location from them maybe,” said district CFO overseer Brother Israel Brandon Pacheco. “Activities like this strengthen the brotherhood,” he added. — With reports from Bruce Tan and Erwin Sunga of INC News Section
