Church officers in the Ecclesiastical District of Hong Kong convened for a special gathering on June 30, 2024. On the said occasion, the oath-taking of 105 additional officers who completed seminar-trainings for their respective duties was conducted.

Brother Noer Misa, district supervising minister, led the holy gathering from the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Kowloon. His preaching was streamed live to Wan Chai Congregation’s place of worship, where other officers in the Church were gathered.

He exhorted the Church officers and those who will take their oath of office to value their election. He further explained that God will provide His blessings to, and answer the prayers of those who will heed His call.

The oath-taking of new officers was administered by Brother Arnel Trinidad, assistant district supervising minister.

“My heart is filled with joy in receiving this duty given to me by our Lord God,” Melody Dimaapi, newly sworn deaconess from the Local Congregation of Tuen Mun, expressed. “I promise to dedicate myself in performing my obligations to help the Executive Minister in caring for the brethren in the Church.”

“The Church truly needs many officers who will help the brethren reach the quality worthy of receiving salvation,” Brother Misa explained. “We thank the Lord God and the Church Administration for adding more officers in our district. We will continue to edify the Church members under our care.” — With reports from Mhel Monsalud and Evangeline Obra
