More than 200 guests attended the musical evangelical mission that the Ecclesiastical District of Western Samar conducted at the Sta. Margarita Sports Center in the town of Sta. Margarita, Samar, Philippines on September 8, 2024.

District supervising minister Brother Arnulfo Soliman delivered the opening remarks in which he thanked the guests for accepting the invitation of Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members despite their busy schedules.

This was followed by the choirs from all local congregations moving rendition of a set of Iglesia Ni Cristo original songs that evoke the true Christian faith upheld by the Church Of Christ as well as the members’ strong resolve to live by it in order to please the Lord.

Through the said Christian songs “we share our faith hoping that nonmembers also believe in God and join us in worshiping Him in a manner pleasing before His sight,” explained Brother Danilo Delfin, district Christian Family Organizations overseer.

“I consider it a great blessing to perform in this evangelistic activity because this is also the first musical event for propagation in our district,” said Wenworth Gapuz, choir member from the Local Congregation of San Jorge.

The musical performances came with visual aids in the form of video presentations featuring the lyrics and the biblical verses conveying how God has helped the Church since its nascent years and which continues up to this day.

“I’m happy having witnessed this musical evangelical mission,” enthused Eeza Beth Salurio, a guest of the Local Congregation of Pagsanghan. She decided later on to continue knowing more; enlisting herself as a doctrinal instructee. — With reports from Edlen Zamora of INC News Section
