“Panther Lake is deeply thankful for the dedication shown by the church [Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ)] in organizing this donation.”

Thus said the Kent School District via its social media account in behalf of Panther Lake Elementary School that benefited from the INC Giving activity conducted by the Local Congregation of Kent, Washington, Ecclesiastical District of Washington State on March 25, 2024. Together with the said school, Park Orchard Elementary School also benefited.

The brethren handed out school supplies to the schools’ staff during this activity organized by the said congregation’s Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, and were led by Brother Beejay Tadeja, resident minister. This event was the congregation’s part of the Church-wide INC giving project in accordance with God’s will written in Proverbs 3:27: “Whenever you possibly can, do good to those who need it.”

“A total of 20 boxes of school essentials were donated in Lake Panther and Park Orchard,” said Rechelle Cambronero, congregation’s Buklod secretary. “Hopefully, these will be of great help to the teachers and further motivate the pupils in their studies.”

“I extend my dearest thanks to the INC members in Kent for their love and concern to our young learners,” enthused Patrick O’Connor, principal of Park Orchard. “The school supplies they’ve been given will not only help them and their teachers, but also support their parents as they strive to provide their children’s educational needs.”

As a gesture of appreciation to the brethren, the students and the schools’ staff handed out a ‘thank you’ board with their personal notes of gratitude written on it. — With reports from Felimaur Flauta of INC News Section
