TIAONG, Quezon — On October 19, 2024, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC or Church Of Christ) successfully organized a multi-faceted humanitarian service event that included a medical and dental mission, a blood donation drive, and an outreach initiative aimed at supporting the local communities in Quezon province.

Hundreds of participants, including INC and non-INC members, gathered at the Tiaong Convention Center to benefit from these vital services, underscoring INC’s unwavering commitment to community welfare and healthcare accessibility.

Through its Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS), INC provided free consultations, check-ups, and treatments conducted by licensed healthcare professionals, ensuring that many residents received necessary medical attention and complementary medicines and vitamins.

In partnership with the Quezon Medical Center (QMC), INC facilitated a blood donation drive involving its members from more than 30 congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon West, addressing the critical blood needs of Quezon and neighboring provinces.

“QMC serves the entire Quezon. Your program is a great help to the whole region in maintaining the blood supply, as one blood bag donated can help three patients,” stated Maria Gladilyn Tan, donor recruitment officer of the QMC Blood Bank.

Additionally, INC distributed care packages containing rice, coffee, and canned goods to those in need, emphasizing its mission to uplift and assist the underserved.

The district minister, Brother Christopher Angeles, highlighted the motivation behind the INC’s humanitarian efforts, stating, “This is the command of God—to love our fellowmen—which, when we continue to fulfill, brings pleasure to the Almighty.”

The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) is a Christian religion in more than 165 countries and territories. It is composed of members from more than 150 different ethnicities and nationalities.
