REAL, Quezon — In an inspiring display of volunteerism, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) conducted an activity called “Linis Paaralan” at Kiloloron Elementary School in Real, Quezon on July 30, 2024.

The event began early in the morning with volunteers gathering at the school grounds, equipped with gloves, trash bags, and cleaning materials. The participants, including parents and students, worked tirelessly throughout the day to clean the surroundings, trim overgrown plants, and pick up litter and dry leaves. The initiative to improve the learning environment for students received a remarkable response from faculty members of the school.

Genneth Poblete, the school principal, expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the INC volunteers for their “orderly and meaningful” participation in the school clean-up drive. She also thanked INC Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo for launching programs that assist various communities, and schools.

“The cooperation of the INC brethren in this school activity, Brigada Eskwela, is a tremendous help. The school prepares classrooms and the environment for the upcoming school year. The school will be in excellent condition for the upcoming school year, supporting a quality education,” Poblete said.

Among the INC volunteers was Aira Duplina, an officer of the Christian Family Organizations. Duplina said she was “truly delighted to join in this activity launched by our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo.

“I pledge my wholehearted support and commitment to all the initiatives of the Church Administration in the Iglesia Ni Cristo,” she added.

The resident minister, Brother Ravi Vasquez, noted that the Linis Paaralan” project was carried out as “part of the activities approved by the Church Administration in commemoration of the 110th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.

“This effort is undertaken and continually supported by the Church to assist the community, particularly in the area of education, to prepare students for the upcoming school year 2024-2025,” he said.

This will also help create a better environment for the proper learning of the students, reaffirming the importance of community collaboration in enhancing educational spaces.
