Taiwan South District held an INC Unity Games at Dou-Nan Senior High School compound on January 31, 2025. Through the activity, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in all local congregations and group worship services (GWS) within the district got the chance to bond in this sporting activity.
“I felt overflowing joy and my inspiration was renewed. Church activities display brotherly love; and being with brethren truly feels like family,” enthused Kaohsiung City Congregation deaconess Lealyn Quinto.
After the opening remarks delivered by district supervising minister Brother Mayonel Taal, the oath of sportsmanship was administered. Then, matches in chess, dart, 100-meter dash, 400-meter relay, volleyball, and basketball, were facilitated, promoting unity, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among brethren.
Later that day, Brother Taal led the awarding of medals and trophies for the winners of each sport, which were as follows:
Basketball: Chiayi Congregation
Volleyball: Kaohsiung City Congregation
400-m relay: Qianzhen Congregation
100-m dash: Lexus Dela Cruz (Qianzhen)
Chess: John Robert Adora (Yongkang)
Dart: Rodel Castillo (Tainan City)
“We are thankful for this Unity Games in our district,” said Gangshan Congregation head deacon Billyson Mina. “Uniting with the Church Administration is one among other endeavors that please God.
