“The dedication and fervent faith shown in every performance was truly moving,” said Wendy Laka, a guest in the INConcert hosted by the Ecclesiastical District of Queensland, Australia. The activity, which was the highlight of the district’s celebration of the 110th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), was held at the Marsden State Theatre Hall, Queensland on July 28, 2024.
“This celebration for the Church’s anniversary goes to show that the promises of the God are all being fulfilled. Our district is also witness to the parade of victories He gives the Church,” said Brother Orlando Macayan, supervising minister of the newest district in the continent of Australia-Oceania.
Choral groups, soloists, musicians, performed renditions of INC Original Music, such as Ikaw na Aking Hinawakan Mula sa mga Wakas ng Lupa, Siya ang Tunay na Sugo ng Diyos, Unstoppable, Celebrate God’s Calling, My Faith is Strong, among others. These bespeak of God’s promises for the prophesied Messenger and his works in the last days.
“Attending this anniversary celebration has deeply impacted my faith. It’s inspiring to see how much we have grown together over the years. We know that all these are from the helping hands of the Almighty God,” said Jennifer Salvador from the Local Congregation of Gold Coast, Queensland.
Brother Macayan added, “The brethren were inspired as they had a glimpse of more than a century of the Father’s unwavering love for His nation in the last days. We will march on to ever serve Him actively.” — With reports from Recil Marie Montejo of INC News Section
