Five years have passed since the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) opened its UNLAD Garment Factory outside the Philippines, an initiative that generated jobs for brethren in the Local Congregation of QwaQwa, Ecclesiastical District of Southern Africa.
To commemorate the said milestone and give thanks to God, on December 14, 2024, the brethren attended a special gathering that was officiated by Brother Rico Del Rosario, district supervising minister.
“I’ve been working in the garment factory ever since it started [operating],” shared Masana Photolo, deaconess of QwaQwa Congregation. She was among the factory workers recognized for their service and hard work since the factory’s establishment.
Brother Del Rosario preached about how God expects His true servants to uphold integrity at their workplaces. He also reminded them from the Bible that they must also be rich in doing good works, especially God’s commandments written in the Bible.
Having been blessed a living, “my life has changed a lot. God blessed me this job that has made me able to provide more for my family. I thank Him so much. And to Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, I also want to say thank you,” added Photolo.
