Buklod (bond), the Christian Family Organization (CFO) within the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) for its married members, marks its 62nd anniversary this month. Couples in the Ecclesiastical District of Italy South attended a special gathering on December 8, 2024 to commemorate the said event.
Brother Dyland Ramos, the district supervising minister, officiated the sacred gathering at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Rome, which was livestreamed to various local congregations and group worship services (GWS) in the district.
In his homily, Brother Ramos reiterated the crucial role of married couples leading their families in a life rooted in faith and obedience to God. They must lead by example, that is, always obeying His will for them to be effective in guiding their respective household.
Aldrin del Rosario, the district Buklod president, attended with his wife Maricris. “We had so much joy in our hearts due to the spiritual blessings we received during the special gathering—a heartfelt and timely lesson instructing every couple to lead the household in striving to deal with various problems in life while ensuring their faith in God is firm,” he said.
On behalf of the Buklod members, Brother Randolf Villajuan, the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, said, “We thank the Church Administration for allowing such activity that benefited all married couples in our district with spiritual blessings needed in their everyday lives, to continue glorifying and praising our Father in heaven.” — With reports from Sophia Del Rosario
